The number of oil rigs in America has now risen for 23 straight weeks (and 50 of the last 52 weeks), up 11 to 758 in the last week - the highest since April 2015. However,
high acreage costs beginning
to affect economics in the Delaware, driving
investors away.

"The
key risk of option selling programs is market crash risk... In
the US rates are rising and monetary accommodation from the ECB and BOJ is
expected to recede. Medium term, this is likely to lead
to market turmoil, and a rise in volatility and tail risks."

"It’s probably the most-expensive
foreclosure we’ve ever seen...This shows that too much leverage is probably not wise..."
Today, more
than 30% of Americans pay half their income in rent - the highest percentage in
decades.
And with more investors in the city concentrating on luxury
properties, some ultra-luxury buildings like One57
are struggling with unsustainable vacancy
rates of nearly 40%.
Until last month, no apartments on Billionaires’ Row, which
also includes 432 Park Ave., had been subject to a foreclosure auction,
according to PropertyShark. The loss of a Manhattan
residential property to creditors is a rare event, regardless of the unit's
price-tag: Only 27 new residential foreclosures in the borough in the first
quarter.
Could this be the start of a
trend? We think so. Which leads us to our next question: How, exactly, does one
short the luxury real-estate market?

“Some
anomalies” with the F-35B’s Autonomous Logistic Information System (ALIS)
forced the US Marines in Yuma, Arizona, to “temporarily suspend” F-35B
operations, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing said on Friday.
ALIS is a complex software
algorithm that is supposed to incorporate “smart” self-monitoring
to let maintenance crews know which parts of the plane might need
repairs and order parts before malfunctions occur. The irony that the
diagnostic system has itself been pinpointed as the issue causing the
planes to cease operations is difficult to ignore.

Hypoxia Problems Have Plagued $100M F-35 Fighters Since 2011 - US Military https://sputniknews.com/military/201706161054711214-hypoxia-plagues-f-35-fighters-military/
The
oxygenation problems in the fifth-generation F-35As that have caused the
grounding of 25 percent of all F-35s produced by Lockheed Martin date back six
years, the US Air Force has just admitted.
Since 2011, pilots have reported 15 F-35A “in-flight and
ground physiological events,” Air Force Capt. Mark Graff said in a
statement Thursday.
"Physiological
events" is a bloodless euphemism for what can be a life-threatening
experience, according to F/A-18 Super Hornet pilots. A US Navy Super
Hornet pilot recalled what happened after an issue with his air flow
regulators in comments to the Navy Times: "That’s when I realize
my lips were tingling, my fingers are tingling, and I’m like 'Sh*t, man,
something’s wrong' … And the guy in back’s like, 'Hey, dude! My fingers
are blue!'"

Bad Air: US Navy’s T-45 Fleet Grounded as Breathless Pilots Go on Strike https://sputniknews.com/military/201704111052509450-US-navy-aircraft-fleet-grounded/
Citing
an ongoing series of near-asphyxiations in flight, US Naval Air Force pilots
have thrown down the gauntlet, saying they will not fly the T-45C Goshawk
trainer aircraft until life-threatening system logistics are repaired.
In a statement, Commander
Jeannie Groeneveld, a spokeswoman with the Naval Air Forces command, said
that the ongoing life-threatening problems with pilot cockpit air supply
could be the result of "multiple interrelated potential
causal factors."

letales y caer como moscas a tierra .. Si es asi, los actuales aviones de guerra del US y NATO pronto seran inservibles. El aire toxico que
envenena a los pilotos es solo uno de los factores que los saco del espacio. ]]

Automated Guidance System Steered Philippine Ship Before Striking USS Fitzgerald https://sputniknews.com/military/201706241054932111-automated-guidance-system-ship-fitzgerald/
Computers killed seven US service
members.
Seven sailors on the USS
Fitzgerald drowned when their vessel was struck and their sleeping quarters
eventually submerged after a Philippines cargo ship on autopilot slammed
into them.
The US investigation
into last Friday’s deadly collision between a US Navy vessel and the
29,000-ton ACX Crystal found that no one was behind the wheel of the
Philippines trading ship: an electronic guidance system led it to gouge
the Fitzgerald, with fatal consequences.
“The ACX Crystal powered
out of the deviation it performed at 1:30 a.m., which was likely the
impact with the USS Fitzgerald, pushing it off course while trying
to free itself from being hung on the bow below the waterline,” private naval analyst Steffan Watkins told the Washington
Free Beacon in a report published Friday.
US military doctrine prohibits drones from acting
on their own accord; every Hellfire and Paveway II missile is fired
by a human operating the aircraft remotely. The idea is that machines
shouldn’t be allowed to kill humans outright. Similar philosophical
quandaries have emerged about assigning liability in the event that a
self-driving car causes a crash that leads to loss of life.
Coast Guard officials
from Japan and the US opened an investigation into the crash
upon learning that it took almost an hour for sailors on the
merchant ship to notify authorities of the naval emergency. It now
appears the sailors aboard the Crystal simply didn’t know they had struck
another ship.

Merchant Ship Off the Japanese Coast (VIDEO)

A
Thunderbird F-16 military jet was involved in a crash Friday afternoon during a
practice run for the Dayton Air Show in Ohio. Officials believe the crash may
have been caused by a strong gust of wind.
A crash
team was sent from nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and there were
no fuel leaks or fires reported.
Thunderbirds F16 flipped when landing after their practice flight for

Police
in Delhi, India, are currently searching for a 23-year-old Mangolpuri woman who
cut off her paramour’s genitals after he refused to marry her.
The woman had been in a four-year
relationship with a 35-year-old street vendor named Ravi, who rejected the
notion of marrying her when the woman brought it up, saying that his
family would not accept their union.

That infuriated the woman.
According to a police report, "The man returned home from his
work at 11:30 p.m., following which he received a phone call
from his girlfriend’s sister-in-law, who asked him to come
over since his girlfriend wanted to meet and discuss some urgent
issues," the Hindustan Times reports.
