For the
first time in 4 months, the US Oil Rig Count declined last week (down 2 to
441) as the total rig count rose 4 to 557 (gas rigs up 6). Oil remains
above the $49.00 level for now.

The healthcare sector is under significant
pressure this morning following unexpectedly bad results from health-care giant
McKesson which tumbled over 20% after the company missed earnings and sharply
cut its profit outlook for the year as income dropped by half in its latest
quarter.

For once it appears that the Atlanta Fed, with
its 2.1% Q3 GDP nowcast was overly pessimistic, and moments ago the BEA
reported that in the third quarter, US GDP increased at an annual rate of
2.9% according to the first "advance" estimate released up more
than double from the Q2 real GDP of 1.4%, and beating Wall Street consensus of
a 2.6% rise in the quarter.

S&P futures and Asian stocks were little
changed while European shares fell as the global bonds sell-off deepened on
speculation major central banks are moving closer to reining in stimulus, while
stocks retreated after disappointing results from companies including
Amazon.com and AB InBev.

A
"leaked" memo emerged on Friday evening which explains why Comey took
the unusual step of deciding to inform Congress that the FBI had reopened its
investigation into Clinton’s private email server. The memo reveals two main
reasons: a sense of obligation to lawmakers and a concern that word of the new
email discovery would leak to the media and raise questions of a coverup.

As cited by CNBC, NBC's Pete
Williams adds that this is not coming out after Russian hacking or from the
Podesta leaks.
In other words, the FBI is now probing what is on the device and what are the
emails on it.
However the details pan out, it is troubling for Hillary that 10 days before the
election, the FBI's probe has been effectively
reopened.
