ABSTENTION AD PORTAS .. ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME DEBACLE

INTRODUCTION

It was sad to see how political actors like Sanders and intellectuals like Eric Zuesse abandoned their progressive ideas  to support representatives  of the .1%  : to Hillary Clinton –HC- by Sanders & to Donald Trump –DT- by Eric Zuesse –EZ- . I call both moves a betrayal to their original position and a betrayal to the people that follow their political messages.  A day after EZ’s article supporting Trump & demonizing Jill Stein, EZ recanted his support to Trump, but didn’t rectified his statement on the leader of the Green party. EZ’ zig-zag reveal  the inconsistency of his logic himself and I don’t care from this fact, as many people don’t.  I DO CARE for the arguments used by both of them.

My concern in this article is triple: 1^st, to show that the arguments used for Sanders to move out of progressive ideas and support Hillary, one of the representatives of the 1%, and those used by Eric Zuesse –EZ- to do the same but in favor of Trump, both are based on flaw logic, and totally out of the political context (deep level of decomposition of our democracy).  2^nd ,  What is beyond the big and small political shocks is the issue  ABSTENTION that both didn’t want to talk about.  3^rd, in the small shock there was a dishonest critique to Jill Stein. EZ assumed “lack of realism” among those who support a 3^rd option.

My point here is to show  that :

A- There was not such lack of realism in Jill Stein to decry both Hillary and Trump. That stand was perfectly consistent for the time being. Who was inconsistent was EZ in supporting Trump. One prove of inconsistency was given us by the same EZ who recant his support to Trump in his initial art I’M A BERNIE SANDERS VOTER: HERE’S WHY I’LL VOTE TRUMP. I will show that EZ initial stand fall in what is Known as “retarded realism” in three senses. I will show also that behind the failed “real politics” on democracy used by EZ, there is an issue that he ignored or wanted to ignore: the issue Abstention. Jill Stein didn’t go to this point, but is close to it. When she said that basic conditions for real democracy has been demolished by both parties –this lead to the exclusion of a 3^rd option for both of them- the logical conclusion is why to legitimize a system that lead to anti-democracy? I will offer here some more points supporting the logic effect of exclusion: abstention

B- The exclusion of Trump could lead also to abstention. That will be a huge blast to current circus. Time has been changed fast. The solid support that Trump has it 2 weeks ago has been defied from the top as from the bottom of his Party. If we follow these phenomena we have to conclude that a 2^nd big political shock is coming to the current political system. Let’s explore some possible issues and possible events derived from it.

b-1 Trump has been abandoned by his financiers–group, though his support at the bottom is apparently intact.

b-2 The Bush mafia inside the GOP abandoned him too (Bush-s, McCain and the rest). That could be taken as big favor to Trump, if he simply ignore them or attack them on their “oil-business” with solid data. They are very discredited people, but with still some power inside the GOP.

b-3  The mainstream media is now against Trump and could erode Trump’s support from the masses. He has been forced to grab firm ties with the military and police and he is doing so, at the cost of abandoning his initial neutrality on Russia. In recent speeches Trump has show  some support to the option war to solve international issues and he is now more pro WW3. This fact can erode his support among young people.

b-4  If in the 3^rd debate Trump does not retake the issue “pacifism” he will definitely will lose part of the young people. He has to make a balance between war vs diplomacy and show that the current regime failed both parts and nothing new can be offered by Clinton but more failures and lost of our soldiers life.

b-5  Trump has to place conditions to the “presstitute” to break their monopoly support to Clinton (the drug test is ridiculous, unless used as pretext to “abandon” the debate and invite people to other TV group). Any mean used on this aim will save his candidacy. 

b-6  The Bush mafia (real supporters of Hillary) has to be put in defense, their only option is to expel Trump from the GOP party. They are preparing this attack. That will be the greatest favor to Trump  ( unless Row convince them that is better to use him when he is in power). If Trump is expelled from his Party, that will be the death of GOP. Either Trump take control of the party  by buying the support of bureaucracy inside the RNC, and if he do not get the majority inside such bureaucracy, he can create an Independent  People Party and bye-bye GOP forever.

b-7  If 6 happens, the duopoly system will be a moribund limping duck. If both bureaucracies (GOP-Dems) decide not to register a new party lead by Trump, they will simply decree their death. Trump can simply quit from the race and call for ABSTENTION= Hugh political crisis. This could be the way to say Bye-Bye to NOV 8 and its fake democracy.
