WHITE LIES MATTER.  Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/24/2016
How bad is Hillary Clinton’s image? This bad...

Fifty-six percent of Americans view her unfavorably, according to the Huffington Post pollster trend.
One-third of New York Democratic primary voters say she is neither honest nor trustworthy.

Her imagewrites Dan Balz, is at or near record lows among major demographic groups.”
Like, all of them.

Among men, she is at minus 40. Among women, she is at minus 9. Among whites, she is at minus 39. Among white women, she is at minus 25. Among white men, she is 17 positive, 72 negative. Her favorability among whites at this point in the election cycle is worse than President Obama’s ever has been. . . . Among African Americans nationally the NBC–Wall Street Journal poll shows her with a net positive of 51 points. But that’s down 13 points from her first-quarter average and is about at her lowest everAmong Latinos, her net positive is just two points, down from plus 21 points during the first quarter.

Democrats who tell us we must vote for Hillary as the ‘lesser of two evils’ are speaking from a position of privilege and racism.

Their privilege means they don’t have to live under the Corporate Empire’s bombs, terrorism, and aggression, which they often support, and their racism means they have little if any consideration for the unpeople who do.

Thus, Hillary and Donald are NOT two separate entities that represent different levels of domestic evil – evil is evil and that can affect them – and they see Donald as worse.

TRUE, Donald and Hillary are both evil, but to people who reject ethnocentrism and solipsism, they are essentially one evil: RACIST, US corporate imperialists eager to keep spilling foreign blood and killing anyone who gets in the way of a dollar.  (For those unaware, here is Hillary’s long and heinous record on this.)  Yes, there are some nuances: Don may be worse for the environment, but Hillary is more likely to cause a nuclear confrontationNeither method of global destruction is ‘less evil’.

The lesser evil, then, is to ignore these monsters and their misguided supporters and build a movement to supplant both them and the system of bribery and oligarchy they have helped create, and in which they thrive and fester.

ZERO HEDGE
ECONOMICS

As BofA's Michael Harnett reminds us, on Thursday, April 28th, the US equity "bull market" becomes second longest ever. Next Thursday the current bull market will be 2607 days old, exceeding the bull market of June 1949 to August 1956 by one day; the longest bull market ever was October 1990 to March 2000 (3452 days). The following chart shows the evolution of the three Great Bull Markets.

Here are three point from Hartnett for those curious what may come next.
The Path from No. 2 to No. 1
  • First, the last years of the longest ever equity bull market (i.e. the late-90s) were marked by cross-asset volatility and a bubble; that remains a plausible risk scenario.
..
Note how asset markets have struggled to produce upside since the era of excess liquidity came to an end and/or illustrates how low expected returns of bills, bonds, equities, and indeed all risk assets have become thanks to “financial repression”.
..
The total return from a portfolio of equities, bonds, commodities, cash split percentage-wise  .. Since the end of QE3 the same portfolio would have fallen 3.4% to a value of $192. Note this also shows a diminishing “wealth effect” for the economy, another reason to be long Main Street, short Wall Street.
..
See chart 9: TOTAL RETURN INDEX OF A NEUTRAL BENCHMARK PORTAFOLIO  at:  http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/2016/04/20/anniv%202.jpg

Third, another factor behind the fatigue is earnings, which as the following chart shows, have also faded in recent quarters (even excluding the energy sector). Our shift in recent years from “raging bull” to “sitting bull” to “volatility bull” reflects low probability of the Higher EPS & Lower Rates in coming quarters.

Yellen’s secret meeting at the White House followed an emergency secret Federal Reserve Board meeting. The Fed then held another secret meeting to discuss bank reform. These secret meetings come on the heels of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s estimate that first quarter GDP growth was .01 percent, dangerously close to the official definition of recession. Thus the real reason for all these secret meetings could be a panic that the Fed’s eight year explosion of money creation has not just failed to revive the economy, but is about to cause another major market meltdown.

The mainstream view of the unemployment statistics suggest that any weakness in the US economy, manufacturing or beyond, will be temporary and shallow because employment growth remains robust. In fact, the payroll reports are irrelevant. Actual economic analysis and fruitful interpretation lies only in ignoring them. Viewing the economy only through the lens of the BLS figures leads to a world that just doesn’t exist; it’s why policymakers, economists, and the media can’t seem to gather that the recovery ended years ago.

Again, the inflection in commercial bankruptcies, especially retail firms, and the notable and sustained dropoff in retail sales makes sense; the BLS’s calculated strength in hiring in retail and the whole economy does not.

It also cuts against the idea that this is some temporary problem even though temporary (or transitory) now stretches toward a third year.

Unlike the view from the unemployment rate, a broader range of less imputed data suggests that economic weakness overall may have past that point of being self-reinforcing; that what Schlumberger’s CEO describes of oil services and indeed the whole oil patch is the future for many more industries. We just don’t know how far into the future that growing possibility might be (slope and all that).
..
What should be painfully obvious by now is that the major employment numbers have made themselves irrelevant.
..
Again, the payroll reports are irrelevant. Actual economic analysis and fruitful interpretation lies only in ignoring them. Viewing the economy only through the lens of the BLS figures leads to a world that just doesn’t exist; it’s why policymakers, economists, and the media can’t seem to gather that the recovery ended years ago. Recognizing that situation pulls the economy of 2016 as it is back within the boundaries of reason, leaving “unexpected” out of all of it.

POLITICS

"Money was a lazy b*tch, until you put it to work! And look how it works! Look how it grows! Materializes out of nowhere! As leaders, innovators, captains of finance, you will always be subject of the jealous resentment, the petty tantrums of the unwashed masses, the insolvent, the irresponsible, the invidious, the losers. They will envy you, your successes, they will despise you, but they secretly want to be like you! Irresponsible single mothers, uneducated immigrants, lead-drinking ghetto-strutters, homeless, crying, babies, starving senior citizens, obnoxious, entitled African Americans who object to having bullets pumped into their bodies by police: all these people are angry, entitled, and making noise, and they are endangering our democracy and economy, our greatness."

While pro-Bernie progressives are free to create their own communities in Ron Paul’s world, Ron Paul libertarians are compelled by force to participate in Bernie’s world. That is the fundamental difference between liberty and socialism, between voluntaryism and collectivism, between statism and private property. Nothing prevents progressives from living as they wish now, except the very things they viciously oppose: decentralization, secession, and local control.

[[ FACT 1 is the migration of current voters who fed up with the money-corruption of democracy spread by both Hillary & Trump –the representatives of the 1%- and fed up with the main owners  of the current economic & political system in Washington (the establishment). They are migrating toward honesty and fairness represented now by Sanders.

FACT 2. The migrants are not only socialist who use to vote for their small party (among them the Green Party), they are also  progressive people inside the GOP like Ron Paul and others. None of them are communists.

FACT 3. The migrants are also many progressive and liberal people who simply did not vote for either member of the bipartisan  system (Dems or Reps) , but they are citizens who have the right to vote and want participate now, perhaps attracted by the socialist message spread by Sanders, or just the context against the rich & against war.

FACT 4- They are not millennials, they are mature people who create & run their own small business and work independent from big corp and are not part of any workers Union, though they have small associations. They run productive business and are not involved in any speculation-fraud enterprise. I’ve meet many of them in Chicago, in Portland, in Wisconsin and here in Penn. They are migrating from usual abstentionism toward participation. They are part of the middle class who  face the real dollar devaluation and the shrinking market. They do not belong to the “Suckerdomdepicted in this article, they are real Americans who wants to save the country from the collapse that we are now.

Those are the migrants that have been excluded by the Dems party of Hillary in NY and those are the people whose participation is changing the whole political panorama. They are the ones who are signing and joining either the socialist party and/or  the NATIONAL Front to rebuild America. When Hillary exclude them in NY she shot her feet at national level. She will be defeated in CA and a new socialist party will emerge from the Dems party. Many people who registered as democrat will abandon this party, myself including.  We will NOT vote Hillary!!, ..  NO WAY.]]

Why Voters Will Stay Angry Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/24/2016
From the supporters of Donald Trump to the street protesters of southern Europe, voters around the world are mad as hell. Inequality, immigration, and the establishment's perceived indifference are firing up electorates in a way that's rarely been seen before. As the following charts from Bloomberg show, the forces shaping the disruption of global politics have been building for years and aren't about to diminish...
----
----

Trump is faced with the possibility that he may have to ultimately weather a brokered convention in Cleveland this July in order to finally secure it.
Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island all hold primaries on Tuesday, and all will go a long way in determining whether or not Trump can get to the magic number of 1,237 (delegates needed to win the nomination outright). The key to the Trump nomination, however, may hinge upon how he does in the state of Pennsylvania.

Take away Saudi Arabia’s oil and all that’s left are a couple of Islamic shrines and a lot of sand and hot air.
[ Does “take away” means : bomb them ? .. If that is the case  .. Trump is the right man who said so  and he will  it ( I guess) .. Saudis oligarchy caused to much damage to US and also to our backyard, the Latino countries that will save us our economy .. we can’t depend anymore on China. .. So, do it.]

ME & WORLD ISSUES

London Mayor Boris Johnson who first slammed Obama's "hypocritical" Brexit diatribe and accused Obama  "ancestral dislike of the British empire – of which Churchill had been such a fervent defender" on being part-Kenyan.
..
However, a far more tempered op-ed appeared in The Telegraph by Janet Daley, one in which she does not invoke Obama's African heritage, but rather his achievements, or lack thereof, in the global arena, and asks point blank:"Why should we take advice from a president who has surrendered the world to chaos?"

When this referendum began, what seems an eternity ago, I was unsure how I would vote. Membership of the EU on a day-to-day basis is pretty much all gain for me, because I am an affluent professional who benefits from the supply of inexpensive domestic help, willing tradesmen and convenient travel that the EU provides. Unlike those whose wages are being undercut by cheap imported labour, or who cannot afford to buy their own homes because of the pressure on housing from unlimited immigration, I have lost nothing.

But I believe in democratic legitimacy, which means paying attention to people who do not have my advantages. So should I go for self-interest, or for political principle? Watching this campaign, with its unscrupulous attempts to bully and terrorise a brave and conscientious electorate, has made up my mind. I shall be voting for Leave.

According to Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (German Economic News), on April 23rd, U.S. President Barack Obama is “demanding the active deployment of the Bundeswehr [Germany’s armed forces, including their Army, Navy, and Air Force] to NATO’s eastern borders” at Poland and the Baltic republics, to join the quadrupling of America’s forces there, on and near those borders of Russia. (This is an extreme violation of what Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to when he ended the Soviet Union and its NATO-mirror organization the Warsaw Pact, but it’s actually culminating a process that began shortly after he agreed to America’s terms, which included that NATO “not move one inch to the east.”)

NATO’s surrounding Russia with hostile forces is supposedly defensive against Russia — not an offensive operation. During the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, America’s President JFK didn’t consider Soviet dictator Nikita Khrushchev’s plan to base nuclear missiles in Cuba to be ‘defensive’ on the USSR’s part — and neither does Russia’s President Vladimir Putin consider America’s far bigger operation, of surrounding Russia with such weapons, to be ‘defensive’ and not offensive. The U.S. Government, and NATO, act as if Russia is surrounding them, instead of them surrounding Russia — and their ‘news’ media transmit this lie as if it should be taken seriously, not as its being a lie; but, in actual fact, NATO has already expanded right up to Russia’s western borders.
