In
Aftermath Of ECB's Greek Fiasco; Europe Boosts Its Own Growth Forecast. Submitted

has been outright surreal. According
to the WSJ, "the European Union’s official economists said the sharp
drop in global oil prices and a weaker euro should boost growth in the eurozone
this year, raising their forecasts for the currency area’s largest
economies.". And then, as always in the case of Europe, they immediately
shot itself in the foot, explaining just why these forecasts are already null
and void: The cutoff date for the forecasts is Jan. 23. The left-wing
Syriza party was swept to victory in the Greek elections two days later on
a platform of getting Greece’s official creditors to loosen austerity mandates
on the country and restructure its debt. So far, Germany and others eurozone
nations have refused. The commission did lower its forecasts of Greek growth,
saying the decision to call early elections had hurt confidence… The result:
"The commission cut its estimates for the Greek economy. Growth is

ECB Pulls The Trigger: Blocks Funding To Greece Via Debt Collateral - Full Statement. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 02/04/2015 What this means simply is that since Greek banks are now unable to pledge Greek bonds as collateral and fund themselves, and liquidity is about to evaporate, the ECB has effectively just given a green light for Greek bank runs, as suddenly it has removed, both mathematically but worse politically, a key support pillar from underneath the already bailed out Greek banking system, (or merely a negotiating move to let Greece see just what kind of chaos this will create ahead of the big D-Day on Feb 25th when ELA could be withdrawn).

Post: Organizing Against Tyranny.

premises, telling people what they want to hear rather than opening their eyes
to reality, is perhaps the easiest way to build a movement. Of course, that
movement will eventually destroy itself as the lies begin to inhibit progress
rather than inspire it. But in most cases, by the time the organization
self-destructs it has already been exploited for the nefarious purpose it was
intended. For the liberty movement, the movement against globalization and
forced centralization of financial and political power, lies are simply not an
option. We must organize around the truth, no matter how painful it happens to
be. There are a lot of complaints in
the movement about the lack of what they consider effective organization, and
the frustration is in some ways beginning to evolve into fear. Here are some
core inconsistencies I believe are at the heart of organizational problems
within the liberty movement and what we can do to solve them.
Re-examining Our Concept Of Real Organization. For a movement driven by a desire for the
preservation of freedom and sovereignty, organization requires structure, but
not rigidity or centralized leadership.
Legitimate Structure And Purpose. They have been looking for top-down
leadership, which doesn’t exist and shouldn’t exist. There will be no mass
majority movement on Washington in a “V for Vendetta”-style march led by some
heroic masked man. Every liberty proponent in America should be able to pursue
this goal without prompting from any centralized leadership, and it
encompasses every aspect of the fight against tyranny.
Changing Our Idea Of Leadership. If activists plan to become followers of
anything, it should be solid principles. Leaders are secondary.
Destructive Egomania. liberty
leaders and personalities don’t matter, the limelight doesn’t matter, and the
level of our fan base doesn’t matter. All that matters is how effectively and
efficiently we can get the facts to the public. Organization suffers when the
cult of celebrity takes over, whether in the minds of activists or in the minds
of the people who represent them in the media.
Fear Of Risk Leads To Inaction. Fear
has no place in the minds or actions of liberty champions. Remove fear, and
world-changing organization becomes possible.
