“Lower-class whites
are embracing an American fascism” :
..
“These Americans want a kind of freedom—a freedom to hate.
They want the freedom to use words like “nigger,” “kike,” “spic,”
“chink,” “raghead” and “fag.” They want the freedom to idealize violence and
the gun culture. They want the freedom to have enemies, to physically assault
Muslims, undocumented workers, African-Americans, homosexuals and anyone who
dares criticize their crypto-fascism. They want the freedom to celebrate
historical movements and figures that the college-educated elites condemn,
including the Ku Klux Klan and the Confederacy. They want the freedom to
ridicule and dismiss intellectuals, ideas, science and culture. They want the
freedom to silence those who have been telling them how to behave. And they
want the freedom to revel in hypermasculinity, racism, sexism and white
patriarchy. These are the core sentiments of fascism.
These sentiments are engendered by the collapse of the liberal state.”
“The Democrats are playing a very dangerous game by anointing
Hillary Clinton as their presidential candidate. She epitomizes the
double-dealing of the college-educated elites, those who speak the
feel-your-pain language of ordinary men and women, who hold up the bible of
political correctness, while selling out the poor and the working class to
corporate power”
“Fascism is aided and advanced by the apathy of those who are
tired of being conned and lied to by a bankrupt liberal establishment,
whose only reason to vote for a
politician or support a political party is to elect the least worst. This, for
many voters, is the best Clinton can offer”
“Fascism is about an inspired and seemingly strong leader who
promises moral renewal, new glory and revenge. It is about the
replacement of rational debate with sensual experience. This is why the lies,
half-truths and fabrications by Trump have no
impact on his followers. Fascists transform politics,
as philosopher and cultural critic Walter Benjamin pointed out, into aesthetics. And the
ultimate aesthetic for the fascist, is war.”
[ WHAT TO DO? ] ..
”..build, as fast as possible, movements or parties that
declare war on corporate power, engage in sustained acts of civil
disobedience and seek to reintegrate the disenfranchised—the “losers”—back into
the economy and political life of the country. This movement will never come out of the
Democratic Party.”

Last year he declared
that he would endorse "the Democratic nominee." Certainly, all the
Democratic politicos in the Congress who endorsed Hillary set no conditions.
The large labor unions that went with Hillary are known for giving their
endorsements without receiving any benefits for workers. So, Hillary would have
no mandate should she win the election. And you know that Clintons without
mandates tend to bend toward Wall Street and rampant militarism.
The energetic Sanders supporters, including the Millennials
who voted so heavily for Bernie, could form a New Progressive movement to
exercise a policy pull on the establishment Democrats before November and to be
a growing magnet after November with the objective of taking over the
Democratic Party starting with winning local elections. This will have
long-term benefits for our country.

Tumble After Fed Plans Too-Big-To-Fail Bank Counterparty Risk Cap. Submitted
by Tyler Durden on 03/04/2016 : US financials are tumbling after The Fed
proposed a rule that would limit banks with $500 bln or more of assets from
having net credit exposure to a “major counterparty” in excess of 15% of
the lender’s tier 1 capital. Bloomberg reports that The Fed's governors plan to
vote today on the proposal. The implications of this are significant in that it
will force some banks to unwind exposures and delever against one
another (most notably with potential affect the repo market which governs much
of the liquidity transmission mechanisms). Guggenheim's Jaret Seiberg warns the
proposal is likely to be "stringent," though less onerous than the
Dec 2011 proposal... which Goldman Sachs more specifically warned that it
could destroy 300,000 jobs.

that we’re still here, when we really should have fallen apart based on how
much debt there was out there, and various other measures of instability, is
that a printing press has turned out to be a great tool for fooling people...but
in the longer term gold is a beneficiary of the instability that necessarily
flows from borrowing too much money"

"The Amount Of Debt Americans Carry Is Staggering And Grows Every

Durden on 03/04/2016 : "The amount of debt Americans carry is
staggering and grows every day.... These data suggest that a significant
portion of every generation is buried under a mountain of several different
kinds of consumer debt. Though sizable slices of each generation carry no debt,
the sheer magnitude of how much Americans with debt do owe is a cause for
concern."

Credit Spreads Have Never Been This High Outside Of A Recession. Submitted
by Tyler Durden on 03/04/2016 : "We are in the bottom of the 8th
or 9th inning, and unless the Fed steps in to add liquidity to the market,
which seems unlikely, I don’t expect extra innings... there is no question
that the bubble will burst, resulting in a mini or not-so-mini credit crisis."
Recent improvement notwithstanding, IG and HY net leverage
ratios remain above the medians of the last three decades... and high yield
bond spreads have not traded at these levels outside of a US recession...
And even with recent strength, levels remain extreme...

An
Establishment In Panic Submitted
by Tyler Durden on 03/04/2016 : If Republican leaders wish to be regarded
as moral, every one of them must renounce Trump, even if it means destroying
their party, exclaims
The Washington Post. That the Beltway elites, whose voice is the Post,
hate and fear Trump is not only undeniable, it is understandable. Come the
ides of March, the GOP is going to be in need of its uniters and its statesmen.
But today, all Republicans should ask themselves: Are these folks coming
out in droves to vote Republican really the bigoted, hateful and authoritarian
people of the Post’s depiction?

The Lure Of
Socialism Submitted by Tyler
Durden on 03/04/2016 : Many people of mature years are amazed at how
many young people have voted for Senator Bernie Sanders, and are enthusiastic
about the socialism he preaches. Many of those older people have lived
long enough to have seen socialism fail, time and again, in countries around
the world.
[ Socialism has two great central experiences, Russia & China, while capitalism
flourished in the US, UK, Europe & Japan. Who is now collapsing and who is
going up?. The rest of their countries were peripheral countries (depending on
the center competition & support vs attack from the opposite hegemonic
center). If we compare the economic & social
situation in both centers & periphery, nobody can deny that the
achievements of the socialist block (RU tech & Ec development from the
1920s to the 1980s ) were amazing. RU scientific-tech
and its Sputnik could’ve been used to bomb the US & the West, and they
didn’t do it as America do it with Japan. One system is committed to peace
& the other to war. Who profit & who suffer from war policy? Only
few big capitalist corp. One more thing.
The greatest development in socialism were shared by the working classes and
middle classes, while in the capitalist system only a
small % of the upper classes enjoyed the prosperity. Socialism took out Russia and China from
misery and starvation while in capitalist systems the labor continue be
super-exploited, sick and not well educated. How many Ec failures had the
socialist center- system? two, and they recovery soon. The death of Mao didn’t
affect China as the great depression affected the US and core capitalist countries.
The fall of Gorvashed last only one decade and a half and Putin put the train
of progress back in their road. Our crisis start in the
1990s and one decade after 2008 we have a huge recession whose effects we are
still suffering. One final point: capitalism live at the expenses of
colonialism & neocolonialism and we are the ones who benefit from the
destruction, crimes, plundering, and oppression from those countries. Socialism
help them to get out from such oppression. The last
point: the best development in terms of
quality and quantity (40 years) in the
US was achieved by the socialist reforms implemented and left by Franklin
Delano Roosevelt (FDR). Since the 1980 we had the neoliberal system and
the standards of living in America are going down and down. So, socialism was
and is the solution to neoliberal vulture capitalism, its corruption and
predatory speculation worldwide. ]

Former
UK Ambassador To Syria: US/UK Foreign Policy Is Doomed, Even Corrupt. Submitted
by Tyler Durden on 03/04/2016 : "Realistically, Assad is not
going to be overthrown. This becomes more clear with every day that passes.
Western analysts have been indulging in wishful thinking for 5 years; it’s
time to get real, we owe it to the Syrian people to be much more realistic
and hard headed about this. The West has to stop propping up the so-called
'moderate opposition', which is not moderate at all."

Manufacturing Numbers Mean That It Is Time To Hit The Panic Button For The
Global Economy Posted on March 4, 2016 by WashingtonsBlog Author: Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse blog.
We haven’t seen numbers like these since the last global
recession. I recently wrote about how global trade is
imploding all over the planet, and the same thing is true when it comes
to manufacturing. Just consider what
is happening in China.
Manufacturing activity continues to implode, and factories are shedding jobs at
the fastest pace since the last
financial crisis…
