US WEAPONS FOR SYRIA MERCENARIES ARRIVE IN AL-MAFRAQ.

Christof Lehmann (nsnbc) : A US Air Force plane, loaded with weapons for Syria mercenaries, has arrived in the Jordanian town of Al-Mafraq, where the USA has maintained a presence, including Special Forces, CIA, DIA, State Department and a number of intelligence front organizations, including USAID since 2011.
The arrival of the airlifted weapons comes only days after it was reported that the US Congress has approved of arms shipments to what is euphemistically called “the moderate opposition” until September.
An nsnbc correspondent, located in the area, confirmed reports about the arrival of the US weapons plane, published in the Jordanian Al-Waha news and the Syrian news agency SANA and reports about a new detachment of 1.500 newly trained insurgents which is ready for deployment to Syria.
Jordanian media report that the 1,500 new insurgents have been recruited in the nearby al-Zaatari refugee camp. The nsnbc correspondent confirmed in earlier reports that both US, Saudi and other intelligence services recruit refugees in the camp in violation of international law, more specifically the Geneva and Haag Conventions.
The correspondent rejects US claims about “moderate rebels” stressing that both Jabhat al-Nusrah and Liwa-al-Islam, both of which have been directly involved in the chemical weapons attack on the Damascus suburb of East Ghouta on 21 August 2013, are active in the al-Zaatari refugee camp, operating in liaison with US Special Forces, and that they also are maintaining direct liaison to US forces at the Ramtha Air Base.
The nsnbc correspondent reiterated previous reports, according to which US Special Forces in al-Mafraq were training al-Qaeda mercenaries in the handling of chemical weapons.
In 2012, al-Mafraq was used as the staging theater for more than 20.000 foreign, predominantly Libyan fighters under the banner of the al-Qaeda linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) under the direct command of the then LIFG second in command Mahd Harati.
While some reports claim that US weapons shipments have been “resumed” after the recent approval by the US Congress, the nsnbc correspondent states that he has spoken to numerous eyewitnesses in al-Mafraq, who stressed that the flow of Saudi and US weapons shipments via al-Mafraq and the Ramtha airbase has been continuous, since July 2013.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Gennady Gatilov, described the decision of the US Congress to arm the “opposition” regretful, adding that recent statements about the US’s use of military force are unconstructive.
