TRUMP GOVERNABILITY = ZERO

Political scientist define “governability” as the capacity of a Government to bring peace no war,  solidarity with all humans in need, not to serve the selfish greed. Governability means stability not the fear created  by un-stable economic crisis .  All societies are divided into different social class and groups. How to make them believe that the rights of all people will be protected and how to make them believe that they are part of one single nation with open future for their kids and family.. Governability is the art of serving the public need, not the private greed. 

Governability depends on 7 variables:

 

1-Political-Legitimacy. It is adquired by votes during elections but is maintained by the capacity of the Govt to generated consensus in turn of his policies and effective support from them.  If policies are not consulted with all key actors in democratic institutions they will not be supported. The main problem today is neoliberalism & the explosive inequality it generates. If a govt has not a post-neoliberal  agenda it is condemned to failure and Trump don’t have it. He is still attached to the obsolete Keynesian idea that Govt spending  (not savings) define the growth of GDP (that is the source of military over-spending & war abroad) that policy only benefit the MIC & six big Corp. It does not serve our Nation. 

2-Conflictivity  : the level of conflicts in streets are  vey high and it will be worse. The middle classes are now leading the rebellion against the Govt. They got debts when they were students and don’t get jobs nor money to pay the  debts. 

3- Negotiation ability. Negotiation creates social peace inside & outside. It also creates sustainable economy. All depends on good faith to get a win-win situation for both sides. If we put the military forces before trade deal, during and after the deal, we damage everything.  It is what Trump use to do & he damages the deal with China more than once. Trump’s style of negotiation only work with small countries like Ukraine and even in this case he has create a big mess to himself (impeachment). Blackmailing a country  and the piracy of Economic sanctions create to US more & more enemies worldwide.. 

4- Govt Efficacy = zero.

Decisional efficacy depends on the capacity of the Govt to create and implement policies & Govt acts according to objetives and plans announced during elections & the capacity to respond to contingencies emerging at national & global scale like climate devastations and the issue migra from the south. We recognized that climate is real issue but we failed with the issue migra. There are crimes against humanity committed by Trump and they are still  pending  of trial. 

5- Elites-Gvt cohesion . This have been destroyed by Trump. Real Investors are not with him (some of them wanted him death). The speculator sector from Wall Street don’t follow him either (they are evading taxes as never before & they prefer  fiscal paradises abroad instead of being real americans. The cohesion of the political class = zero. 

6- The credibility and confidence.  I think Trump don’t believe himself: one day can say one thing and the next day the opposite. He don’t expect the nation to believe  in him. This is why the nation’  political credibility and confidence in State  institutions and authorities doesn’t  exist.  What exist is fear, mutual fear: a police can beat a disarmed young to death and later on they will respond also with guns to the police as happens in MX. The labor don’t trust even their union leaders and there are total distrust on Govt authorities. The labor don’t want only free meal , they want fair salaries inside & abroad. They want education, health & houses for all. 

7- The explosive inequality created by neoliberal policies is about to burst and billionaires will be expropriated at gun-point if they are not legally limited. The army & policy wont be able to solve this problem: military repression  will bring  ganster organization like in Mx and they will respond at military level too. This will create a big division inside legal military apparatus. What Trump has to do is to renounce to power, resign, & get out of US. PERHAPS: He can make a deal with the Supreme Court  IF & IF
