that stagflation exists as an economic phenomenon is only really true for
neo-Keynesians, who view inflation
as economically stimulative, and its failure to stimulate perplexing. In
this sense it is frequently applied to conditions today...

Attempts to adjust
GDP for inflation amount to double-counting, because if the adjustment was
perfect, there would be no increase in GDP. We know this, because if we take a
theoretical closed economy where everything was recorded, and the quantity of
money was fixed, there cannot be any change in GDP. The fact there is a difference
between nominal and inflation-adjusted GDP is down to the time taken for new
money to fully enter into circulation, and because the statistical method has
the watertight integrity of a sieve.
Any student of
monetary inflations knows that they impoverish the ordinary people. The
mechanism is summarised above. To ignore this suggests the Germans in 1920-23
must have been cock-a-hoop at the stimulus of monetary inflation, and the Venezuelans
today are similarly blessed. The fact remains that inflation impoverishes. If it stimulates economic
activity at all, it is only a temporary effect that rigs the numbers. The
pre-Keynes classical and Austrian economists, who accepted and understood Say’s
law and its implications broadly understood that inflation impoverished people.
It seems modern economists are blind to the point.
This
brings us back to the use of the stagflation term. When used to describe an economy that refuses to respond to the
artificial stimulus from an increase in the quantity of money and credit,
stagflation only makes descriptive sense for neo-Keynesians who fail to
understand the true consequences of government interventions and deficit
finances. It
is not actually how the term was first used. They would be far better, if they
have difficulty understanding the true effects of monetary inflation, in
assessing the evidence of the effects before their eyes, instead of hijacking a
term meaningless in this context.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi denied
reports that the European Union had requested to include talks
on Iran’s missile program and regional power and announced that the
European nations had agreed to limited talks with Tehran only
to the nuclear deal. “We have not
negotiated on any other issues”. The
Europeans have also accepted that we will not negotiate on other issues,” Seyed Javad
Abtahi, a senior MP, cited the deputy minister as saying.
According to Araqchi, Tehran doubts that Europe can
stay committed to the deal and continue its implementation

tiene esto de nuevo?. Aquí en Pittsburgh PA-USA tenemos una iglesia que fabrica
su propia cerveza y vino y opera como bar-restaurant los fines de semana y días
feriados. Me dijeron que en días normales se celebra misa a petición de la
familia que pague por ello. Solo falta que alquilen cuarto para la luna de
miel ‘quick’ o “a la carta”. Esta iglesia cristiana queda muy cerca del
barrio italiano .. su mejores clientes .. creo. Hubo otra en Bates-Oakland, la
manejaban árabes y la cerraron.. los acusaron de vender drogas. Aquí no toleran la competencia de otra droga
que no se la “religión”. Las 2 veces que visite la iglesia, no vi afro-americans
solo blancos y latinos. No esta prohibido dijo el duenio y mi hija me confirmo
que si vio morenos, business is business, me dijo. Yo creo que hay otra
explicación: La de mi madre. Cuando le pregunte si podía traer un amigo del
colegio que perdió súbitamente a sus dos
padres y los hijos estaban siendo repartidos entre miembros de la familia, mi
madre me dijo que SI. Ellos han recibido la bendición de Dios y quien los ayude
siempre tendrá buena suerte. Es cierto, ellos han sufrido mas que cualquier
otra raza y para padecer lo que ellos sufrieron se necesitó el apoyo de Dios.
Por eso son religiosos y por eso el pueblo peruano esta con ellos. El mes de
octubre celebran al Cristo Moreno, la
