Eurasian Pivot? Moscow Expects "Progress" From Tsipras Visit. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/29/2015. Despite what is unquestionably a rather dire outlook, Athens does have one card it has yet to play because as we noted last week, “once the first week of April comes and goes and Greece officially runs out of money, it will go to anyone who can provide it with the funds needed to avoid civil war, even if that means switching its allegiance from Europe to the Eurasian Economic Union, something Russia is eagerly looking forward to.

The irreconcilable characterizations inside and outside of Russia of current geopolitical stress lead us to believe that it is unlikely that understanding / compromise between political parties involved can be achieved via diplomacy," Soc Gen says, in a new note that outlines the current state of affairs in Russia.

Europe Pulls Rug From Under Greece, Says "Nein" To "Vague, Piecemeal" Proposals. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/29/2015. Despite all the talk of a "positive climate" Greek talks with their creditors have ended badly for the desperately cash-strapped nation. As WSJ reports, Greek proposals for a revised bailout program don’t have enough detail - are "piecemeal and vague" - to satisfy the government’s international creditors, eurozone officials said. Furthermore, as Dow Jones reports, EU finance ministers are unlikley to meet again until mid-April (and in the meantime, Greece has to pay salaries, pensions, and most critically IMF debts due on April 9th). It appears clear that the EU is prepared to let Greece entirely run out of money in an effort to squeeze Tspiras as much as possible (though that action will likely further force a pivot to Putin).

First Europe, Now The Gulf's Leaders Agree To Form United Arab Military Force. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/29/2015. Just a week after Jean-Claude 'I am not a hawkish warmonger' Juncker pressed for the creation of a Unified European Army to combat the 'looming' threat of their massive trade partner Russia; RT reports Arab leaders have agreed to form a joint military force from roughly 40,000 elite troops and backed by warplanes, warships and light armor at a Sharm el-Sheikh summit. Egyptian President Abdel Sisi has announced a high-level panel will work out the structure and mechanism of the future force. The work is expected to take four months. It appears The Endgame of this global game of Risk is fast approaching as one-by-one, geographically proximate nations join forces for whetever comes next.

The American Dream Part 3 - Moonshine, Scam, & The Delusion Of Democracy. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/29/2015. When we left you yesterday, we were trying to connect the bloated, cankerous ankles of the US economy (Part 1) to the sugar rush of its post-1971 credit-based money system (Part 2). Today, we look at the face of our government. It is older... with more worry lines and wrinkles. But whence cometh that pale and stupid look? That is also the result of the same advanced diabetic epizootic that has infected American society.

- “Bubbles in credit” has jumped as the biggest concern (30%), having been third on the list in January’s survey,
- “Supply” has risen to be the second biggest concern (19%),
- “Geopolitical conflict” is the third biggest concern (14%), but this is down from being the top concern in January’s survey,
- "Deflation in Europe" (the second biggest concern two months ago), is now down in 7th place (just 3%).

'Saudi war in Yemen is on behalf of US'. Sun Mar 29, 2015 Saudi Arabia has launched a proxy war in Yemen on behalf of the United States to install a Western puppet regime in the country, says an analyst.

[that is right .. the domestic political problem of Yemen didn’t pose any threat to Saudis .. this is an aggressive war pursuing the control of the entrance to the read see and the access to Mediterranean see (key point for trading oil to Europe) .. Now the control of the red see is shared by Sudan an Egypt .. soon or later these two States will split the coalition .. Meanwhile they are united by the US-Saudis-Qatar aim to crack down Iran-Ru oil business using  the mediterranean see. .. With the Saudis controlling the door to red see .. they will impose their price to the oil that goes to Europe.. if they manage to keep mercenary chaos inside the Middle East in alliance with the US .. So far the US, Saudis and Suni States have control on the mercenaries inside Middle East .. They want to have the monopoly of terrorism and their plan is to destroy any resistance in Syria, Iraq, Libanon, Yemen & Afghanistan & Libya. That is the point of the invasion to Yemen, they failed in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, and they will fail here too.  At the end, this chaos will benefit the master of world chaos: American plutocrats that profit from wars. They want the european market for they gas too. Higher the price of oil = higher the price of gas, future winner, the US. The future losers: Europe. ..Apparently Europe will benefit from this chaos since the offer will increase. That would happen in a normal market, but Saudis & Qatar and the US & Israel have control of mercenary forces in the ME that will disrupt a normal market and impose prices at will , as it happens with the dumping today. The main target of current disruption was Russia, later on will be Europe . The net winner now is the US, that is why they are leading the Arabian crusade against Iran. Iran is forced to make strong ties with Russia. Meanwhile Russia will keep Asia for their oil & gas ]

Summary: While Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei makes the final decisions on foreign policy, Security-related issues are the responsibility of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), which plays a major role in shaping Iran’s foreign policy. The SNSC always sees eye to eye with the sitting president as the head of the council, and the fact that the SNSC secretary is like-minded to and selected by the president (although the secretary must be approved by the supreme leader), the president observably influences the decisions made by the SNSC.

YEMEN'S SALEH PROVES TO BE A SURVIVOR.
By Bruce Riedel is director of the Intelligence Project at the Brookings Institution.  Posted march 29. http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2015/03/yemen-saudi-saleh-airstrikes.html

Summary: to this author the future of the crisis depends on one man, Abdullah Saleh. He is a Zaydi Shiite who fought alongside the Egyptians against the Saudi in the 1960. He became President of North Yemen in 1978. In the 1990s he leads the unification of North & South and became a national hero. Saleh gained and keep wide popular support therein.  Saleh had fought the Houthis for years before 2009, but the Houthis welcomed his support to face the Saudis and the US, because he has considerable backing in the former Republican Guard and other key army units and in the air force. He survive several assassination attempts from the Saudis. Saleh is Saudi's bete noire, a black ghost that prevent them to sleep. Saleh is able to make deals with different ruling fractious inside Yemen, that is like dancing on the heads of snakes. He was also able to make deal with big monsters like Bush with whom he make a deal to fight Al-Qaeda, after al-Qaeda attacked the US destroyer Cole in Aden's harbor in 2000, Saleh claimed that an American plan to seize the city had been thwarted. Then he promised George Bush to defeat al-Qaeda.  Bush hailed him as a partner in the war on terrorism. He is the consummate snake dancer. Saleh is still dancing, on the night of March 28, in a televised address on Houthi-controlled media, he appealed for an end to the "barbaric" air attacks of the Saudi’s coalition and for a cease-fire and elections. Meanwhile, there were rumors that Ahmed Ali, Saleh’s son,  has been already in Riyadh trying to broker a deal with the Saudis. In this line of reasoning, is possible that Saleh is also trying to make a deal with Iran. So, the key  question to this author is: Does the killing of Saleth will solve the crisis in Yemen ??.

SAUDI ARABIA PREPARES FOR IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL
By Bruce Riedel  Brookings  Inst.  Posted March 8-2015

Summary: Saudi Arabia has been pulling out the diplomatic steps in an effort to contain Iran in anticipation of what it sees as an unfavorable nuclear deal between the West and the Islamic republic.
The royal family despises Israel, and Netanyahu is regarded as a war criminal by most Saudis. Any hint of mutual interest with Israel is unpalatable in the kingdom.
