Amid "US Coup", Venezuela Takes Another $5 Billion Loan From China. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. The people of Venezuela can rejoice... not so fast. Amid paranoid-sounding (though not unlikely) rantings about US-created coups (and blaming 'economic' war for his nation's Socialist utopia hyperinflation), it appears President Maduro just got another life-line (or more rope to hang himself). After begging China's leader Xi early in January for moar money (and getting it), China - which is already Venezuela's biggest creditor with over $50 billion loaned since 2007 - as Reuters reports, is said to plan on signing another $5bn loan to Venezuela for "wide-ranging" projects like "mature oil fields." So, it appears China is enabling Maduro to hollow out his economy even more.

We Must Rethink "Everything" If We Are To Survive This Strange New World. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. These negative rates that we see in Europe are a first glimpse of fiat currency destruction due to imploding economies.  And again the negative rates are nominal rates meaning they are negative by way of something beyond inflation.  Specifically they are moving to their natural minimum state of valuelessness because the economy is no longer strong enough to provide alternative investments for the fiat currency.  Fiat currency is shown then not to be a storage of value whatsoever.  But only a representation of strength of its respective economy.  As the economy goes to zero so does the value of its currency.  This point is exceedingly imperative to understand in our current global environment.

Albert Edwards: "It Is Already Too Late To Avert Another Crisis". Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. "Some highly respected market commentators, most recently Ray Dalio from Bridgewater, have raised the possibility that Fed rate hikes risk a 1937-like slump. It is indeed a dilemma but likely already too late to avert another crisis.... In that respect it is probably too late already. We believe that the die is now cast, the cake is baked and coming out of the oven, and the financially fattened goose is well and truly cooked!"

After Pillaging Pensions, Greece Raids Utilities To Repay Troika; Bonds Plunge As Bank Run Accelerates. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. The new Greek government, instead of seriously contemplating a Plan B outside of the Eurozone, was busy thinking of new ways to raid its own population just to repay the "loathed" Troika. In the latest sad indication of just how truly insolvent Greece is, Reuters also reported that days after raiding its own Pension funds to repay the IMF (which in turn lent the cash to Ukraine so it could repay Ukraine's obligations to Gazprom and thus Putin), the Syriza government is now raiding the major state utility firms to lend the government cash through short-term repo transactions as it scrambles to avoid running out of cash.

Paul Tudor Jones Warns This "Disastrous Market Mania" Will End "By Revolution, Taxes, Or War". Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. "This gap between the 1% and the rest of America, and between the US and the rest of the world, cannot and will not persist," warns renowned trader Paul Tudor Jones during his recent TED Talks speech, as he addressed the question - can capital be just? Hoping to expand the "narrow definitions of capitalism," that threaten the underpinnings of society, Tudor Jones exclaims, "we're in the middle of a disastrous market mania," adding "one of worst of my life." Perhaps most ominously, he concludes, historically this ends "by revolution, higher taxes or wars. None are on my bucket list."

De-Dollarization Accelerates As More Of Washington's "Allies" Defect To China-Led Bank. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. "Ignoring direct pleas from the Obama administration, Europe’s biggest economies have declared their desire to become founding members of a new Chinese-led Asian investment bank that the United States views as a rival to the World Bank and other institutions set up at the height of American power after World War II," The Times notes, in yet another indication of declining US influence.
The foreign ministers of China, Japan and South Korea will meet in Seoul this weekend for the first time in three years, in an effort to calm tensions in the region.
The trio have strong economic ties but frosty relations. International angst about this state of affairs among the regional superpowers has been further piqued by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, a Chinese-led initiative sparking alarm in Washington and proving divisive elsewhere.
Meanwhile, even Europe’s own “magical fairyland” is taking the plunge. Via Bloomberg:
China welcomes Luxembourg’s application to be a founding member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, China’s finance ministry says in a statement on website.

And so, with the most European of European countries on the bandwagon, and with South Korea leaning unmistakably towards joining up, we say again
Bottom line: this isn’t theory or conjecture anymore. Every shred of objective evidence suggests that the dollar’s dominance is coming to an end.

Rand Paul "Officially" Running For President In 2016. Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/19/2015. As The Washington Examiner reports,
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will officially seek the White House in 2016, according to a federal election filing.
The development is not surprising as Paul has signaled in the coming months that he is pursuing a run. The senator, who was elected in 2010, has signaled he will officially announce his candidacy in April.
Paul was elected to the Senate in 2010 and is a favorite amongst the conservative Tea Party. He recently took the straw poll at the CPAC event last month.

[ If so, the mafia Bush is buried. Then will come the announcement of the Senator from Vermont, with the support of grassroots org and hundreds of people’s leaders from most States of the Nation. When this happens,  adios to Clinton’s mafia.  The life of the dirty couple (demos & Reps) will be over. The scenery may be like this: Either they accept the 3rd choice, the PEOPLE’s FRONT TO REBUILD AMERICA  (PFRA) or America will have an illegitimate President since most people will not go to elections, abstensionism will prevail. Whoever came to power won’t have the senate either. That will be the rule of chaos, worse if Clintons come. If senator Sanders lead the PFRA he may call a National Referendum to re-install an updated FDR Glass-Steagll Act. (the 1st of 5 points program). This will open the way to either  re-call senate elections or to rule by Executive Order  (fast truck) as Reagan & Bush did it. This path will be the end of the dirty couple; they will be finally buried. This will also be the end of neoliberal frauds of big corporations inside and abroad]

DEMOCRACY NOW

Congressional Democrats are openly criticizing the secrecy surrounding the negotiations over the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), just as President Obama begins a major push to pass the controversial deal. The United States is engaged in talks with 11 Latin American and Asian countries for the sweeping trade pact that would cover 40 percent of the global economy. But its provisions have mostly been kept secret. After the White House deemed a briefing on the trade pact "classified," Rep. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut called the measures "needlessly secretive," saying: "If the TPP would be as good for American jobs as they claim, there should be nothing to hide." This comes as Obama recently called on Congress to pass "fast track" legislation to streamline the passage of trade deals through Congress. Meanwhile, the AFL-CIO says it will withhold contributions to congressional Democrats to pressure them to vote no on fast-track authority. And some tea party-backed Republicans are saying Obama cannot be trusted with the same negotiating authority that past presidents have had. This spring, the White House has invited Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to address a joint session of Congress in which he may promote the TPP. For more, we speak with by Lori Wallach, director of Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch, who has been sounding the alarm about the negotiations. She says Congress could vote on the TPP proposal in the third week in April.

Guest: Tadzio Mueller, German climate justice activist who took part in the Blockupy protest.
Dozens of people have been wounded in clashes surrounding Wednesday’s massive protest against austerity in Frankfurt, Germany. A crowd of around 10,000 people marched outside the new headquarters of the European Central Bank to oppose economic policies that force deep cuts to public spending and worsen unemployment. Around 14 officers and 21 protesters were injured after breakaway marchers clashed with police. We speak with German climate justice activist Tadzio Mueller, who took part in the Blockupy protest.
