IN HISTORIC RESHUFFLING, EXXON, PFIZER & RAYTHEON KICKED OUT OF DOW JONES INDUSTRIAL AVERAGE, REPLACED BY SALEFORCE, AMGEN & HONEYWELL

The index changes were prompted by something as trivial DJIA constituent Apple's decision to split its stock 4:1.

In a historic reorganization of some of the Dow Jones "Industrial" Average's key consitutents, moments ago S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that energy giant, and the world's largest company as recently as 2014, Exxon Mobil will be kicked out of the benchmark index, and will be replaced by Salesforce.com, additionally Amgen will replace Pfizer, and Honeywell International will replace Raytheon Technologies.

Of course, what the historic reshuffling will do is mitigate adverse impact of the the continued collapse of the energy and the relentless shrinkage of Exxon Mobil which back in 2013 became the world's largest company with a paltry, by today's standards, market cap of $416 billion when it briefly surpassed AAPL.

If nothing else, today's dramatic transformation in the DJIA shows just how profound an impact Apple's decision to pursue a 4:1 stock split has had, not only on its stock which has gained nearly $250BN in the past week on retail buying, but also the price impact the resulting indexing will have on no less than 6 corporate giants.

In response, the snubbed Exxon should now announce a 40:1 stock split (because in this market the size of the stock split matters), regain the world's largest market cap on furious retail buying and make a triumphal return to the DJIA.

Los biologos Chilenos Maturana y Varela , working in team with N Luhmann in Germnay, crearon un término para definir la relación entre el ser humano y su contexto natural: autopoiesis or self reproduction. El ser humano necesita del contexto social y también de la capacidad de auto-reproducir por si mismo de los elementos o células internas de su ser biológico. Cada célula no solo re-produce la herencia genética, además crea internamente su propia inmunidad biológica que le permite enfrentar los virus del contexto.

En un grupo de amigos puede haber infestos del COVID-19 , pero no todos mueren ni necesitan tratamiento médico especial. La buena alimentacion, el descanso diario y los ejercicios físicos permanentes al aire libre, ayudan a reciclar la inmunidad biológica de cada individuo.

En suma: cada célula es producto de una dinámica interna, mas que de la acción externa, pero si se necesita de ambas. Que tiene que ver esto con los lockdown?.

La vida en familia es el 1er tipo de Lockdown donde cada miembro forma propia identidad. Los niños de familia extensa y los de familia nuclear crean diferente tipo de identidad individual y social y cuando un niño va a la escuela, que es otro tipo de lockdown, lleva allí el capital humano de su familia (incluido sus déficits).

La escuela es un tipo especial de lockdown donde confluyen el capital humano (y los déficits) que el niño trae de la familia y un tipo de socialización que la maestra con su syllabus y experiencia didáctica buscan construir en la mente de sus alumnos.

No es solo conocimiento lo que se imparte y fluye dentro del aula. Aquí se crea un tipo de identidad social e individual que va más allá de los egos construidos en familia. Lo social lo crea la maestra a partir de su experiencia pedagógica y psicológica (incluidas las reglas de conducta interna) al facilitar la convivencia y respeto mutuo entre diferentes niños. Su misión es crear la unidad de las diferencias.

El niño en contacto con otros niños crea un 2do tipo de identidad personal y social que corresponden a su edad y al contexto ‘escuela’. A un niño puede no gustarle la severidad de la maestra pero sin duda le gusta su escuela. Es allí donde el/ella forma una nueva psicología personal y su nuevo ‘ser social’. Sin duda la escuela es el lockdown que más quiere el niño. Pero la escuela no se puede cerrar por mas de 4-5 horas, y el niño tiene que regresar al contexto mayor fuera del aula.

Es la escuela donde el niño forma SU ‘SER SOCIAL” SU PERTENENCIA A NUESTRA SOCIEDAD. Por esto opino que las escuelas jamás se deben cerrar por decreto de Estado, el daño que esto hace al individuo y la sociedad entera es inmensa e irreparable.

Un sociólogo dijo que cerrar las escuelas ayuda a crea la violencia que hoy vemos contra el sistema total. Creo que es cierto. Y cerrar las escuelas con el cuento de que nos quieren proteger de la pandemia es ridículo, por decir lo menos, en realidad al cerrar las escuelas nos exponen a lo peor de ello, a la privatización de la salud que es lo que convierte la pandemia en negocio de billonarios. A ESTOS HAY QUE APLICARLES UN TIPO ESPECIAL DE LOCKDOWN.
