NSA SPYING & the NEED FOR A NATIONAL FRONT

NSA SPYING & the NEED FOR A NATIONAL FRONT

SEN. PAUL TO FILE CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT OVER NSA SPYING  http://www.presstv.com/detail/2014/01/04/343657/paul-suing-obama-admin-over-spying/

Introduction  by Hugo Adan  1-4-14

Regarding NSA SURVEILLANCE we said in Dec 28 (http://nd-hugoadan.blogspot.com/2013/12/supreme-court-will-decide-in-jan-if-us.html ) that the Supreme Court has to decide over two choices, EIHER “THE US IS NOT AN ORWELLIAN SYSTEM” or neo-nazi regime (case took it by Ron Paul now) vs. “4TH AMENDMENT IS A TOILET PAPER” (case defended by Obama). We concluded that is our Nation that will decide if they will continue tolerating the nasty invasion of Americans’ privacy and the suppression of our constitutional freedoms OR people will stand up in favor of our rights. NSA is destroying the core values of our State-Nation and converting us into enemies worldwide. The Supreme Court should control them, not be controlled by them.

Like Ron Paul there are many democrats that are in se same track and we hope they will join together  with this type of republicans in a NATIONAL FRONT  to rebuilt our country and built a 3rd choice to escape from the trap (demos + GOPs) that alternate in power to defend the narrow interests of big corporations.

SEN. PAUL TO FILE CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT OVER NSA SPYING

US Senator Rand Paul will soon file a class-action lawsuit against the Obama administration over the National Security Agency’s spying on the American people.

In an interview Friday night on the Fox News show "Hannity," the Kentucky Republican urged everyone in the US with a cellphone to join the suit against the administration.

“The question here is whether or not, constitutionally, you can have a single warrant apply to millions of people,” Paul said. “So we thought, what better way to illustrate the point than having hundreds of thousands of Americans sign up for a class action suit.”

The outspoken senator said that he began collecting signatures for the class-action lawsuit about six months ago.

Sen. Paul, who will file the suit in the DC District Court as a private citizen, said that Ken Cuccinelli, the Attorney General of Virginia, is the lead lawyer in the initiative’s legal team.

“We’re hoping, with his help, that we can get a hearing in court, and ultimately get this class-action lawsuit, I think the first of its kind on a constitutional question, all the way to the Supreme Court,” Paul said.

Paul’s Senate campaign website also calls on people in the US to “please sign below and join my class-action lawsuit and help stop the government’s outrageous spying program on the American people.”

The senator has asserted that if he could get 10 million people to sign up it would force the government to make changes to its spying programs.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration on Friday moved on two fronts to preserve the NSA's surveillance activities.

The secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court renewed the NSA's permission to continue collecting phone records of millions of Americans, and the Justice Department appealed a major ruling by a federal judge against the spy agency.
