EGYPTIAN REV
IS ALIVE LA REV EGIPCIA NO SE RINDE
BRIEF INTRODUCTION by Hugo Adan. Jan
27-14
People took City Squares again, despite
Morsi and al-Sisi agendas. Morsi -and his MB- tried to derail the process with
violence, while Al-Sisi, the master of the Coup, now real dictator and candidate, both of them, couldn’t avoid the pacific-independent-demonstration
of the people. People’s Rev is opening its
way again. Neither Muslim violence nor false democracy of al-Sisi will stop the
Revolution. El pueblo Egipcio no se rinde, ni se dejara estafar por la charria
fundamentalista de Morsi ni la de los
Saudis detrás de al-Sisi. Un Frente amplio secular y realmente democrático está en
camino. La 2da etapa de la Rev abrió sus
puertas !!

MILLIONS OF EGYPTIANS CELEBRATED 25 JANUARY DESPITE
INTIMIDATING VIOLENCE
nsnbc : Millions of Egyptians defied violence and
attempted intimidation organized by kadres of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), and
turned out to celebrate the third anniversary of Egypt’s stolen 25 January
Revolution. About 1.000, attempting to foil celebrations with violent riots
were arrested. Egypt is headed for a return to an elected government, although
the threat of foreign-backed subversion attempts persists.
On Saturday, millions of Egyptians
in major cities throughout Egypt turned out in peaceful celebrations, some of
them peacefully demonstrating just grievances, ignoring attempts by the Muslim
Brotherhood to foil the celebrations by violence and intimidation, and by
provoking isolated violent clashes to be filmed, photographed and exported for
propaganda purposes.
Police and army had turned out
to maintain security and to guarantee that celebrations of the third
anniversary of Egypt’s 25 January Revolution could be celebrated, as
peacefully as possible. Addressing the Egyptian people, the spokesman for the
Armed Forces said the anniversary of the 25 January Revolution will continue to
serve as an example that reflects the greatness of the Egyptian people, their
strong will, and their rejection of violence and terrorism. The Armed Forces
joined, as far as possible, the nationwide celebrations while maintaining
security.
Ironically, it was Egypt’s first
democratically elected president, Mohammed Morsi, who also was about to
become the first democratically elected president to steal the 25 January
Revolution in a three step maneuver that has often been declared as being the
Muslim Brotherhood’s strategy and officially declared doctrine for ceasing
power by using democratic institutions to bring about an Islamist rule. In
Egypt, Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood
almost succeeded stealing the revolution in a three step maneuver, by:
·
Suspending the Judiciary.
·
Suspending the Lower House of Parliament.
·
To then introduce
constitutional changes and changes to the election law, which favored
Islamist parties and which would have made it all but impossible for any
secular political party to register for the next elections.
Although by many decried as a military coup, the ousting
of the Morsi administration during the summer of 2013, which was supported
by the military, came after an estimated 14 million Egyptians went
into the streets and demanded their revolution back on track.
Clashes with the Muslim Brotherhood
occurred in the Alf Maskan and Al-Matarya districts of Ain Shams in eastern
Cairo, and at isolated, other locations, leading to the intermediate arrest of
a total of 1,079 across the country. Egypt’s police reported that some militant
MB protesters fired at security forces with bird shots, injuring several police
officers. The Ministry of Health reported that 29 people had been killed during
violent riots in Cairo, Giza, the Upper Egyptian Minya governorate, Alexandria and
other cities.
It is worth noticing that militant
Muslim Brothers are being supported by the Turkish intelligence service MIT,
the presence of Qatar supported Hamas militants in Egypt, especially in the
Sinai, and the fact that Egypt continues being the target of
foreign powers who attempt to destabilize and subvert the country.
Egypt continues its path towards a
return to an elected government, despite Muslim Brotherhood attempts to derail
the process. On Sunday, Egypt’s interim President, Adly Mansour, announced
that Egypt would be holding presidential elections first, and parliamentary
elections afterwards, as outlined in the roadmap.
