LONDON’s CIRCUS FINISHED. LET’S GO BACK TO REALITY (Libor scandal included)

LONDON’s CIRCUS FINISHED. LET’S GO BACK TO REALITY (Libor scandal included)

TEMINO EL CIRCO EN LONDRES. REGRESEMOS A LA REALIDAD. (Incluyendo la Gran Estafa bancaria del Libor)

But first let’s resume the final ranking table for the first 20 countries and sum up some lessons in order to avoid similar mistakes in the Olympics of Brazil. Let’s start with the lessons.

LET’S RE-SET THE CRITERIA TO EVALUATE OLYMPICS

1. THE NEED FOR NEW RULES BEFORE AND DURING THE OLYMPICS. Issues like “games diversity” and “concentration of gold medals” in one single person should be revised and re-defined. WHAT GAMES COMES TO THE OLYMPICS? That is something that cannot be set at the convenience of any country. It should be based on previous international competitions involving most counties that participate in Olympics (so far 85 countries). WHAT THE CRITERIA USED TO ACCEPT A GAME OF TWO VS. TWO IN VOLLEYBALL?. What the criteria to accept 20 or more competitions in swimming related sports? And so on. On the other hand, HOW TO AVOID THE CONCENTRATION OF GOLD MEDALS IN ONE SINGLE PERSON? Why was accepted that one athlete can get more gold medals than 40 countries altogether? Why not to promote more inclusion & new potential athletes instead?. What about clear and transparent criteria for judge-fairness? Why one bronze was took from one country and given to another, after Judges’ decision was set?

2. THE NEED TO INCORPORE QUALITY POINTS IN THE FINAL RANKING. The concept of "Total Medalls" is incomplete if don’t make the distinction between the different value of gold, silver and bronzes. We should given 3 points to gold, 2 points to silver and 1 for each bronze for individual sports. The concept "QP: QUALITY POINTS" allow also to give different value to gold, silver and bronze for "team-ability vs. individual ability". For instance, the best volleyball team can be given 6 points for gold, 4 for silver and 2 for bronze. With the same logic, the best women soccer team can be given 11 points for gold, 5 point for silver and 3 for bronzze, and so on. Why the best individual swimmer can accumulated 21 points?. that is 7 times as the best soccer team?. That is simply irrational. We need to incorporate the concept "quality points" in the Olympics of Brazzil.

3. THE OVERALL OLYMPICS QUALITY DEPENDS ON HOW MANY PREVIUOS OLIMPIC RECORD & WORLD RECORDS HAS BEEN BEATEN. That speak for the need to promote more sports worldwide, beyond the limits of gender, race, ethnicity and religious-believe differences. This is more important issue than promoting political-difference and war-monguerism during the broadcasting of the Olympics. This issue also speak for the need to finance athletes from porr countries if they are qualify to participate in Olympics.

4. THE NEED TO INCORPORATE THE CRITERIA “SHARING OF MEDALS” among country participants to evaluate the QUALITY of the Olympics vs the concentration of them in few hands. How many different players got medals? That is more important than how many medals got one single player in this Olympics?

5. THE NEED FOR COMPANY- COMPETITION IN THE BROADCASTING OF THE OLYMPICS. At least two companies should compete to cover more sports and more broadcasting quality. That is the only way to de-commercialize sports and stop the nasty abuses of interrupting sports with non-related advertisement to the event sports in the Olympics.

6. THE NEED TO PROHIBITED ADVERTISEMENTS RELATED TO POLITICS (that divide people and the objective of sports is unite the world), AND RELATED TO THE CULTURE OF VIOLENCE (war monguerism). NBC committed a crime against peace in this regard and it should be prosecuted. The NBC broadcasting of war monguerism was a despicable insult to the whole world. NBC should be brought to International Court and severely fined. The money should be used to promote FAIR OLYMPICS in brazil.
