Sufrí la picadura de un escorpión cuando fui niño y eso casi me mata, me salvo la enfermera de la familia. Cuando era estudiante univ me hice picar por una hormiga del roble (palo santo, le decían) porque quise saber el dolor que sufrieron dos Hnos que fueron amarrados a ese árbol por soldados que violaron a su hermana menor, una niña. Los acusaron de terrorista a los 2 hermanos y ellos murieron con el dolor de ser envenenados por esas hormigas. La hermana mayor cobro la venganza y mato a 13 de los soldados que participaron en la violación, entre ellos el sargento que los dirigió y a quien ella también lo amarro al palo santo. La conocí en la selva amazónica donde se ocultaba y donde yo fui a trabajar como alfabetizador. Ahora que pienso en las avispas me imagino el dolor que esa picadura puede causar. Es horrible. Ojalá no lleguen al US. Alacranes me han picado, avejas y avispas también en la hacienda de la familia, pero jamás me pico un avispón como el que describen.
