“They’re spending on average over 100 hours – four days – in these facilities that are jail-like facilities not meant for children, so how can you say that’s not a crisis?” she continued.
Psaki exclaimed that “it doesn’t matter what you call it” and referred to the situation as “an enormous challenge.”
“Our focus here is getting to the root of the issues and taking actions, and we don’t feel the need to play games with what it’s called,” Psaki ultimately said.
As a reminder, analyst Steven Kopits said that the reported 96,974 migrants apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection broke many records.
“This was almost three times the level of one year earlier and the highest since 2006, that is, during the Bush administration. It was far worse than any February under either the Obama or Trump administrations,” said Kopits.

Tengo la impresión de que hemos perdido total contacto con la realidad: con el ‘donde estamos y adonde vamos’. Ayer el gobernador de TX amenazo con enjuiciar al alcade por no cumplir con los prescrito para aliviar la pandemia. Pensé de inmediato que es posible que el Gov este financiado por los dueños de la salud en el US (los billonarios de la Farma, llamase Pfizer o Reforma). Se supone que en un sistema político cada quien tiene su función especifica (servir su comunidad) y de esa forma sirve a la Nación. Un sistema es eso: un conjunto de elementos que funciona como un todo para lograr objetivos comunes. En este sistema se crea una energía especial que se llama ‘sinergia’ donde el todo en mov o acción coordinada de las partes es mas grande que la suma de esas partes. Es la unión de las diferencias entre las partes lo que crea la sinergia o fortaleza de un sistema. Lo de las armas es también un negocio privado de grandes grandes corporaciones y para ellos que se vendan mas armas y mueran mas es su negocio. Y a esto no dedicamos como imperio, a vender armas creando conflictos entre Estados dependientes. Tenemos asi dos grandes pandemias que resolver: el covid 19 y sus vacunas y las guerras que no solo matan miles de ciudadanos fuera sino que además contaminan el aire y agua que consumimos. Este es el sistema macro en el que estamos envueltos. Solo nos queda reservar nuestra energías protegiendo nuestro sistema inmunolog y protegiendo también nuestra propia seguridad personal y familiar comprando un arma que la Constitución nos deparo como derecho irrenunciable. Ni la policía ni el ejercito son garantía de seguridad personal y familiar. La mejor garantía a la seguridad social es apuntar al equilibrio en las contradicciones que siempre las abra y dotar a las partes de la energía que les correponde (entropy) y apuntar al homestasis (auto-regulac y creatividad que siempre existe entre individuos y partes de un sistema).
