THE INMORAL WEIGHT OF THE UN RESOLUTION ON SYRIA.

On May 16, 107 state-members of the
UN out of 193, voted in favor of the Arab League (AL) proposal for regimen
change in Syria (the Executive committee of the AL is controlled by Saudis, the
major provider of jihadists inside Syria). There were 59 abstentions, mostly
from Latin America and Africa, and 12 votes against the UN. The majority voted in favor of regimen-change
(they called “transitional regime”) under the assumption that President Bashar
Assad is the only one responsible for the escalation of war, for using heavy weapons against armed opposition and accused
of committing "gross
violations" of human rights (70,000 deaths) on their nation and also for destroying
major cities.
Besides the open support to Islamic-fundamentalist-terrorists, this not legally binding and biased UN-RES
resolution have other implications that
we need to pointed out:
1. The 1st fact is that
the UN-RES adopted on Syria have not legal binding (the UN
Sec-Council should have rule better on
this matter). The 2nd fact is the UN Assembly that adopted the Res was
rushed to come to the meeting in the UN and
most of the UN members did not have the
chance of collecting info from all parties involved in the matter to make a balanced judgment. Both facts mean
that:
(a) That the war will continue in Syria, even when
the opposition has been disguised by the UN Res as peace-makers. This
resolution did nothing in favor of real peace in Syria, it instead favor the
hidden agenda of the US-NATO allies in
this war. The ones who really benefit from this UN Res are the big companies
that manufacture and deliver weapons to both sides. Those are the ones who profit
from terrorism inside Syria.
(b) It also means that the authority
of the UN Sec Council and the whole UN institution has been depowered by this
Res. I would say that the UN members attending this meeting have been kidnapped and assaulted by the
organizers of this meeting. They did provide
sided info about the causes and dynamic of the Syrian war. Most didn’t knew
that the draft of the UN Res was done by
a sector of the Arab League that is controlled
by the US-UK, Saudis and Israel
intelligence agencies?
The adoption of one side of the story
on Syria doesn’t mean that the other side disappear. Russia and China will do
the same as Israel has done with previous UN resolutions. If the US-Israel and
NATO allies don’t care for UN RES on peace, Russia and China don’t need as well,
and they will welcome its dismantle. All UN paraphernalia including the ICC, WTO,
IMF and WB and OAS in the South, is obsolete.
What is need now is to empower regional institutions like BRICS, UNASUR,
etc. In other words, Russia and China will continue supporting Syria and Iran and seems
to be ready to create new fronts, plus radicalizing the currency-war. The only
benefit that the US-Nato alies can get
from this UN-RES is that the reputation of genociders, war makers and profiteers of war is being
cover-up by this UN Res. They are now selling the image of peace-makers. Who –in
the middle East- is going to believe
that? In Latin America and part of
Africa, people don’t eat such crab.
2. Another fact. The UN
assembly was triggered by the terrorists
bombing of Israel on Syria-Lebanon and the terrorist bombing on Turkey . Those attacks
created a sense of emergency for the UN meeting. It happens just when the State Sec J Kerry was
visiting Moscow and his partner in Israeli was visiting China. What this
mean? It could mean that war-diplomacy
is used to distract international audiences while NATO allies were plotting the
UN-assembly meeting. So, all this show
of war-diplomacy was aimed to criminalize
the Assad regime and re-affirm one lie, a big one: that it
was Assad who started the assassination of Syrian people. The fact is that the opposition was cracked down as
it happens in most political systems
(including America), however the major armed confrontation and the destruction
of Syria did come from foreign mercenaries introduced inside Syria by Saudi,
Qatar and other fundamentalist. Those mercenaries were armed, trained and
equipped by the US-NATO allies. There are many evidences on this regard. It can be said that the support of Russia to Assad worsen the conflict bujt is sided to say
that they were the only source of violence.
3. One more fact. When Russia and the
US discussed the Syria issue recently, there
were two alternatives for peace. The 1st one was: all foreigner should get out of Syria
(including the US and Russia) and then implementing a tough arms-embargo to this country. In
other words: the “let them alone policy” implies that legal citizens and current
regime, including all section of the non-armed
opposition will create a committee to decide
the best transitional model for democracy
in their country, like in Colombia.
If they cannot sit together in a
neutral place to solve their problem, the 2nd option was to create a
committee of all neighboring countries including Israel, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon,
and
Syria current regime, to set up
the best transitional model to get out of violence. This was the most likely option at the level
of the UN Security Council, but it was aborted by the US-Nato allies with the current UN
meeting and Resolution. We do not have
alternative for peace at the moment thanks to the unfaithful war-diplomacy
implemented by US-NATO allies. They did not act in good faith in the latest diplomatic
conversations.
4. With the phony UN assembly and its sided resolution, the whole UN and
its Security Council have been declared obsolete. This institution does serve
any more the purpose of protecting the National Sovereignty of their State members. The only option left to Syria is to continue the expulsion of all
foreign mercenaries and then revitalize
the effort to get a regional neighboring meeting to impose a severe embargo of
arms and set up a Post Assad transitional regime to democracy with proportional representation like the
German model.
5. A new world order for peace and justice will not be possible
with the current UN and its institutional paraphernalia (the ICC, WTO, IMF and
WB) they have been captured and corrupted by the US-NATO allies. The same thing
happens with the OAS in Latin America. They are all obsolete and they have to
be disassembled. What is need now is to
empower regional institutions like BRICS, UNASUR, etc.
6. In relation to Syria, unfortunately
they lost the chance for immediate peace.
It happens when the dialogues inside the
UN Security Council was torpedo by the
US-Nato allies. They did not talk nor act in good faith, they have a hidden
knife: a rush meeting of the UN Assembly. This theatrical show ended up in a sided UN Res on
Syria. This Res is supporting regimen-change
because of Assad is not sympathetic
with the US and Nato allies policies. The UN Res on Syria is an open attack
of the right of National Sovereignty of State members and it is also an open
support to Muslim jihadists behind the Arab League and its sponsors, the Saudis, Qatar and Emirates. They drafted
the UN Res on Syria and they have nothing to offer in terms of democracy. Today
the only option for Syria is to lean on Russia and China until they take out
all those foreign mercenaries and jihadists. Later on Syria will be able to discuss
options for democracy in their country. Now they have to defend their sovereignty
with all the forces available in the current international context.

(nsnbc),- The United Nations General Assembly has adopted
a highly politicized, non-binding draft resolution on Syria. The
resolution contradicts the reality on the ground and the political reality
pertaining Syria, contradicts the purpose and Charter of the United Nations,
endorses international, state-sponsored terrorism, and obstructs a political
solution to end the war on Syria.
The success of the resolution lies in the
fact that it is one of the clearest yet demonstrations of the depth of the
systemic crisis of the United Nations, for the fact that the United Nations has
turned into an instrument of neo-colonialism and imperialism, and that human
rights advocates, peace advocates, advocates for international law and justice
and progressives, such as the International Progressive Organization
are seriously mistaken if they suggest, that it would be safe to salvage and
reform the United Nations. The UNGA resolution on Syria ought to become the basis for discussing a new approach to a global community of sovereign nations.
International Justice is not equivalent to Democracy and Majority Rule. Proponents of the United Nations will argue, that 107 nations have voted for the resolution, while only 12, which are Russia, China, Iran, Bolivia, Cuba, the DPRK, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Venezuela, Zimbabwe and Belarus have voted against the resolution, and while 59 countries have abstained. The abstentions came mostly from Africa and Latin America.
